Tech Frog Consulting

AI systems that prove what they did.

I'm Grayson Griffin — founder of Tech Frog Consulting, creator of ArgosOS. I build automation, research, and CRM systems for small businesses and law firms, with verification and audit trails built in, not bolted on. If an output can't show its source, it doesn't ship.

ArgosOS

CRM · research · collections · audit — one system, one operator

Tech Frog's internal operating system: client records, research, collections, and conflict checks in one place, built for a firm of one carrying obligations usually spread across a staff.

  • Verification engine — every claim carries a source, or the type system rejects it
  • SHA-256 hash-chained audit log — alter one entry and every entry after it visibly breaks, including for the owner
  • Ethical-wall enforcement and a collections state machine with defined transitions
  • Demo data flagged at the schema level, purged with one command — fiction never enters the record
What broke

An adversarial audit of my own build found six real bugs the first pass had praised — unstable widget keys silently wiping form state, UTC drift, a success message that never rendered. All fixed before anyone else touched the system. That's what the audit is for.

Confidential Client Engagement

Designed and built a confidential investor intelligence CRM under a non-disclosure agreement for a private client. The platform centralizes investor research, relationship management, due diligence, outreach tracking, and fundraising workflows into a single operating environment.

A core component of the system is a curated database of 500+ OSINT-verified seed investor profiles, assembled through structured open-source intelligence research and multi-source verification. Each profile is intended to provide defensible, evidence-backed information to support capital formation efforts while maintaining source provenance and auditability.

Findings

The research effort demonstrated that publicly circulated investor lists often contain outdated, duplicated, or poorly substantiated information. Applying systematic OSINT verification significantly reduced noise while increasing confidence in the remaining records.

Key findings included:

  • Built a database of 500+ OSINT-verified seed investor profiles supported by documented public sources.
  • Eliminated duplicate, stale, and unverifiable records through structured verification.
  • Identified consistent data-quality issues across widely shared fundraising databases.
  • Established a repeatable verification methodology emphasizing provenance, traceability, and confidence scoring.
  • Organized investor information to support due diligence, outreach prioritization, relationship tracking, and fundraising workflows.
  • Demonstrated that smaller, evidence-backed datasets often provide greater operational value than substantially larger, unverified collections.

02 — Method

How I work.

Five operating rules. Each one was earned in production — on specific builds and specific failures.

M·01

Blank means unverified

Every entry needs a primary source. Without one, the field stays blank — so the record shows exactly what is known and what isn't.

M·02

Break your own build first

Every system gets an adversarial audit by its author before anyone else sees it. The bug you find in private is the reputation you keep in public.

M·03

Tamper-evident by design

Every significant change is logged, and any edit leaves evidence — including the operator's. Accountability is built into the system, not added as policy.

M·04

Confidence is a number

Recommendations ship with an explicit score, named assumptions, and what would change the answer. A seven out of ten with its unknowns listed beats a confident story.

M·05

Govern before you automate

Capability without governance is faster liability. Every system needs a defensible reason, an owner, and a trail before the workflow ships.

03 — About

The operator.

Credentials and experience, organized by capability.

Security

Formed on the early internet — Phrack, 2600, the L0pht-era disclosure culture. The lesson that never expired: every system has seams, and finding the flaw before an adversary does is a form of respect.

Operations

Owned and operated a managed IT services firm on Hilton Head Island, with flat-fee responsibility for clients' systems. Prevention was the business — proactive maintenance mattered more than reactive repair, and the operational discipline carried over.

The practice

Tech Frog Consulting. ArgosOS designed, adversarially audited, and shipped as a working MVP — built before the first client, so the first engagement starts on machinery that exists.

Credentials

Education, certifications, and technical qualifications.

  • B.S. Organizational Management, summa cum laude — Claflin University
  • IAPP AIGP — AI Governance Professional
  • AWS Certified AI Practitioner — AIF-C01
  • Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals — AI-900
  • AB-731 — AI Transformation Leader

04 — Contact

Problems where being wrong is expensive.

The practice takes on automation that must hold up under hostile questioning, research where a plausible answer is worse than none, and build-or-don't-build decisions. Sometimes the honest deliverable is a shorter list — the TF / 002 file above shows what that looks like.

Notice

Tech Frog Consulting opens for client engagements October 1, 2026. This season is for building, auditing, and writing — so the first engagement starts on proven machinery. Introductions welcome now.

Write plainly about the problem. You'll get a plain answer about whether it's mine to solve — and if it belongs with someone else, you'll hear that early.
